Batuqui Brazilian Restaurant

spent New Year’s at Batuqui Larchmere and had such a great time. The atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and full of good energy. The music was amazing and really set the mood for the night. The service was a little slow, but that was understandable with how busy it was, and everything was good as usual. Drinks were well made, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It was the perfect spot to celebrate the New Year with friends. I’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful restaurant in Larchmere. The food was amazing, the service was pretty good and the cocktails were phenomenal (especially the Caipirinha). The appetizers were great, especially the grilled octopus. I would highly recommend you stop by. Only detraction was that their is no A/C and we went when it was 90 degrees out - and the dining room was hot!!! Other than that, this was one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland.

First time dining and at the new space. New space is very unique and loved the atmosphere. The food was great. Enjoyed the cheese bread app, the fish and shrimp stew and the coconut butter cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try other menu items!

Santiago was a friendly and delightful waiter. The coconut pumpkin shrimp soup was the most amazing new taste that left me raving to anyone who would listen. The passionfruit cocktail was smooth and fresh. The key lime chicken was zesty and tender. The wild caught salmon was ever so good. The side of fried plantains was not to miss. If you only have one place to eat out in Cleveland this IS the place.

Incredible. This trip we had the fresh Mint Limeade, a salad with strawberries and pistachios, the stew with shrimp, and the steak special. 10/10. The atmosphere is so cozy, the service is welcoming and friendly, and the food is phenomenal. We just learned that they are relocating to just down the street and we can’t wait to visit again next month. This is a must try. You’ll be back.

We went to Bataqui, the new location in Cleveland, and we loved it! The food was very good. I got grilled octopus for an appetizer, and my husband had the soup of the day. Then, for dinner, we had steak, and it was divine ... The new location is very clean and looks good, but somehow it's missing the vibrant Brazilian touch in decor. It needs a little more than just some pictures here and there. It needs a little more color. Also, maybe it's a little too noisy inside, just because the tables are also a little too close to each other (for my "taste"). You have the space now, and I think some separation between the tables in some areas will improve the atmosphere a lot. But definitely something that we enjoyed very much, and we look forward to the next visit...

Wow!! This place is phenomenal. Real, authentic Brazilian cuisine. The atmosphere is great, and lots of outside seating with heat lamps. Everything on this menu looked great, it was hard to narrow it down what to get. They had a social of the day that was a seafood stew (moqueca) cooked by the owner in a clay pot, and it was the star of the dinner. The pasta, steak, and mussels were all delicious as well. The caipirinha was a great cocktail to pair!

Batuqui is an amazing Brazilian restaurant! Founded by a Brazilian couple, the place truly delivers authentic Brazilian cuisine — and it honestly does not disappoint. With their new location at 12624 Larchmere Blvd, Cleveland, the space is spacious, offering plenty of seating for larger groups, as well as a small market filled with Brazilian products. The food is served hot, the service is excellent, and the Brazilian seasoning brings back memories of home from the very first bite. It’s not just food, it’s an emotional connection. ????????
